The goal of reflection, or more accurately reflective practice, is to explore not only what took place, or what could be done differently, but to consider the values and assumptions that provide a focus for our work.
Reflective practice may sound easy, as though it is something we can do naturally? This is not the case. Apart from the time you need to develop this skill, being a reflective practitioner is not simply writing down what happened and hoping something will change. It involved a deeper exploration of actions, values, and motivations, an approach that demands significant courage.
Optima Group can tailor a reflective practice program to meet specific needs as well as a weekend retreat for coaches, leaders, and other professional groups to enhance reflective practice and effectiveness. See below more for information on Optima’s reflective practice retreats.
